| "This church stands on the rustic windward side of Maui in a small Hawaiian community. As I was setting up to paint the church two very young and enterprising children said that I would never sell the painting if I did not make a donation to the church. They went on to sell me some of the local favorite, shave ice which is very refreshing. I was glad I listened to them because the painting sold right away." |
